Reporting into the Senior HR Manager, the HR Advisor will join the business on a fixed-term contract for 12 months and will provide advice and assistance on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation queries, as well as supporting on all ER matters.

My client is a leading Professional Services, who operate on an international level. The HR Advisor will be based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and assistance on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation queries
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the HR team
  • Support with annual appraisals and salary reviews
  • Support on talent and success planning
  • Work closely with the Diversity and Inclusion team
  • Work closely with the Recruitment team and line managers to determine resourcing needs
  • Responsible for all aspects of absence management and leave processes
  • Analyse sickness and absence statistics
  • Record and monitor employee absence data, noting any trends and promoting early intervention
  • Responsible for all Employee Relations matters
  • Provide advice and guidance on HR policy or procedural issues to employees and managers
  • Act as the main point of contact for any employee concerns or issues
  • Assist with disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings
  • Analyse and manage HR data and MI

Profile

  • CIPD qualification
  • Experience of working in a busy, fast-paced HR department
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Experience of working with HR systems
  • Previous HR experience, ideally at HR Advisor level
  • High attention to detail

Job Offer

  • Salary up to £33,000 per annum
