Reporting into the Senior HR Manager, the HR Advisor will join the business on a fixed-term contract for 12 months and will provide advice and assistance on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation queries, as well as supporting on all ER matters.

My client is a leading Professional Services, who operate on an international level. The HR Advisor will be based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Description
Key responsibilities:
- Provide advice and assistance on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation queries
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the HR team
- Support with annual appraisals and salary reviews
- Support on talent and success planning
- Work closely with the Diversity and Inclusion team
- Work closely with the Recruitment team and line managers to determine resourcing needs
- Responsible for all aspects of absence management and leave processes
- Analyse sickness and absence statistics
- Record and monitor employee absence data, noting any trends and promoting early intervention
- Responsible for all Employee Relations matters
- Provide advice and guidance on HR policy or procedural issues to employees and managers
- Act as the main point of contact for any employee concerns or issues
- Assist with disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings
- Analyse and manage HR data and MI
Profile
- CIPD qualification
- Experience of working in a busy, fast-paced HR department
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Experience of working with HR systems
- Previous HR experience, ideally at HR Advisor level
- High attention to detail
Job Offer
- Salary up to £33,000 per annum
