A Financial Services organisation based in the City of London seeks a Pension and Financial Wellbeing Manager to lead the development and delivery of all aspects of their retirement offerings and wider financial wellbeing initiatives across the UK. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, management, compliance to legislation and running of pension schemes as well as managing relationships with providers, advisers and key stakeholders.

Description

A Pension and Financial Wellbeing Manager to:

  • Oversee the management and running of all Defined Contribution (DC) plans across both business areas, providing subject matter expertise, support, challenge and guidance on pension scheme management.
  • Design and lead pension and financial wellbeing communications
  • Review current operating procedures to formulate new policy and operating processes, where required.
  • Manage all auto-enrolment and auto re-enrolment obligations
  • Lead the pension governance committee meetings and look for opportunities to harmonise any differing processes and procedures.
  • Interpret pension change legislation and amend pension policies and administrative processes accordingly.
  • Communicate the existing approach to pensions for high earners in line with changes in the annual budget and in line with any emerging market trends and amend where necessary.
  • Lead and develop an effective wider financial wellbeing offering and communication strategy
  • Manage relationships with pension providers and external advisers to ensure an effective relationship and smooth service provision.
  • Work with the Internal Communications and Marketing to ensure pension and financial wellbeing changes are communicated appropriately.

Profile

A Pension and Financial Wellbeing Manager with:

  • A background of experience in DC pension schemes and fully conversant with pension scheme legislation and governance and with the pension regulatory regime.
  • The ability to form strong relationships with colleagues, senior stakeholders, pension providers and other third-party advisers.
  • The ability to communicate complex legislative pension rules in a simple, jargon-free and engaging way.
  • Experience of wider financial wellbeing initiative

  • Highly numerate
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong collaboration, and communication
  • Ability to bring empathy and compassion into conversations
  • Ability to use data to drive process improvement
  • Ability to challenge current policies, processes and ways of working
  • Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS) or equivalent preferable
