Description
As Head of HR and Operations you will be responsible for;
- Leading the HR function, including one direct line report
- Managing 2 direct reports in Facilities and Health and Safety
- Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will sit as part of the SLT
- Ensure effective running of HR function from an operational perspective
- Grow and develop HR line report
- Responsible for design, delivery and implementation of People Strategy, incorporating Talent Management, D&I, Culture and Wellbeing initiatives
- Partner SLT to advise from a strategic workforce perspective
- Partner with subsidiary in the US and support on various global projects
Profile
The successful candidate will;
- Ideally have experience working within a Manufacturing/Retail/Logistics environment
- CIPD qualified
- Exposure working closely or managing Health and Safety or Facilities functions
- Sound Employment Law Knowledge
- Excellent stakeholder skills
- Willing to have a strong on site presence in Leicester but also with occasional travel to London HQ (there is some home working offered)
Job Offer
On offer for the successful candidate;
- Competitive salary c. £55-60k
- Pension 5% employee, 3% employer

- 26 days + BHs
- 3-4 days on sites, 1-2 days from home
- Travel to London 1-2 times per month
