Production Operative

Our client based in Swadlincote are looking to recruit a number of Assemblers to be trained into Machine Operators on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis.

You will work as part of a team manufacturing wooden construction products.

Main duties:

•Assembly

•Ensuring quality and safety

•Using machinery

•Assist in general plant support

•Operating basic cutting machinery

Production Operative - Additional details

·The suitable candidate will have previous assembly, production, labouring or manufacturing experience, be comfortable in the usage of hand tools, air guns and be able to work within a busy warehouse/factory environment. Training is provided.

Production Operative – Hours

We have vacancies on morning or afternoon shifts (fixed shifts)

·Monday to Friday 06:00am-02:45pm (mornings) 40-hours paid

·Monday to Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm (afternoons) 40-hours paid

Production Operative - Benefits

•£12.06-£13.62  p/h Standard hours (pay rate depends on experience)

•Overtime rates paid at:

1.25x rate Mon-Fri

1 .5x rate Sat

2.0x rate Sun

•Pay grades are as follows:
•    £12.06
•    £12.84
•    £13.62
•    Once fully trained monthly bonus payments are applicable
