An opportunity has arisen within this successful Hinckley based manufacturing company for an Engineering Administrator to work within its engineering department.
THE ROLE
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, as the role of Engineering Administrator you will be required to support the engineering function in relation to all of its administrative duties. Other duties include:

Creating/Maintaining BOMs on Microsoft

Process engineering expenditure receipts and invoices to ensure costs get posted to the correct projects and cost centres. Close working with the purchasing and accounts department.

Creation of project cost reports including hours and materials expenditure.

Creation of research and development hours report ahead of annual review by extracting data from project management tools.

Except incoming calls to the engineering department.
THE PERSON
In order to succeed in the role of Engineering Administrator you will need to have exceptional organisational and communication skills. You will ideally have experience of working within a technical, manufacturing or purchasing administration role and therefore have excellent IT skills.
