Rate/Salary: £10.92 ph- £11.27ph dependent on qualifications

About Cheshire Springs:
Cheshire Springs is our brand new care home in Whitby, Ellesmere Port.
The home has two ten-bed units which gives it a homely and welcoming feel. It supports up to 20 adults living with complex mental health needs and neuro-disabilities.
In this role, you’ll usually work in the same team and with the same service users to ensure continuity of care. This means that you’ll see the difference you make each and every day.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a brand new service, with a brand new team, and shape the culture and success of the home.

About the Role:
Your role will involve supporting people with all aspects of their day-to-day living, which may include taking up new hobbies, meeting friends, getting involved in social activities, going to the gym or looking their best!
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Providing personal care such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and on occasion, assisting with meal times
- Promote independence, dignity, respect and choice across service users
- Support social and recreational activities; both in and out the home individually, or as part of a group
- Maintain care records; recording observations, activities and assessments
- On occasion, welcome and train new members of your care team
