Workshop Technician - Miller - £18ph
Summary
To work as a skilled Machinist within the workshop facility to manufacture and repair component parts for equipment such as pumps, compressors, steam turbines and gearboxes.
General Duties
- Operate DeVlieg Jig Mill and / Or XYZ Protrak Bed Mill
- Liaise with Inspection and Engineering
- Loading / Unloading and movement or equipment and materials in the workshops
- General workshop duties
Responsibilities
- Carry out machining operations to work scopes, engineering drawings and appropriate specifications
- Expected to work to close tolerances
- Ensure high standards of workmanship at all times
- ensure machinery is kept clean and maintained
Working hours 37 hours per week - time and half overtime
Mon to Thur - 7.45am to 4.15pm
Friday 7.45am to 12.45
