We are actively seeking a talented HR Administrator to become an integral part of our bustling team in Abingdon, Oxford.

As an HR Administrator, you will engage in a diverse array of HR administrative tasks across the full employee life cycle working in collaboration with the People Partner to deliver our ambitious people agenda.

Working as a key member of the people team you will delivery proactive administrative support including working closely on people processes, policies, updating the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) which will include data entry, reporting and administration activities such as the composition and generation of letters, contracts, and presentations, proficient manipulation of data within Excel.

A crucial aspect of your responsibilities involves supporting employees and line managers in navigating various people processes, leveraging the HRIS system (Staffology), overseeing the intranet, and managing employee records. Your responsibilities will also include the consistent updating of the HRIS system and the preparation of insightful reports derived from this system. Engaging in general HR administration and data entry activities.

Hours of Work: Full Time, 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Our main office is located in Oxford, but we are committed to flexible working and can offer home-working or hybrid working, as well as flexibility on hours.

HR Administrator Requirements:
  • Excellent Microsoft skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills
  • Flexible 'can do' attitude
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Self motivated with good organisational, time management and organisational skills
  • Strong level of integrity and confidentiality
Desirable:
  • Ability to produce MS Excel charts from statistical information
  • Previous experience of working in a People/Payroll team
  • Knowledge of using sharepoint
  • Degree level education desirable but not essential
