Electrical Design Engineer

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced electrical schematics.
• Analyse and optimise electrical systems to ensure performance and proficiency.
• Create detailed requirements for electrical systems, laying the base for exceptional designs.
• Capture and document electrical schematics and designs precisely.
• Choose the most appropriate cables and protective devices, ensuring the highest level of safety and reliability.
• Provide expert advice and review on electrical component selection, contributing to the success of every project.
• Collaborate seamlessly with the engineering and project teams, producing exceptional results as a team.
• Embrace a variety of engineering tasks that support projects and programs, showcasing adaptability and versatility.
• Take part in internal and external meetings, contributing your ideas to shape the future of the business.
• Maintain thorough and organised documentation.

Requirements:

• HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Team player, performing in a collaborative environment.
• Experience in specifying electrical components, highlighting eye for detail and critical thinking.
• Knowledge of electrical standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Quick learner with a flexible and adaptable engineering approach.
• Familiar with electrical schematic capture and drawing review, displaying an understanding of the design process.

Desired:

• Knowledge of electronics, enhancing your ability to innovate and explore new possibilities.
• Experience in designing electrical systems.
• Proven experience using Zuken E3, showcasing your expertise with recognized design tools.
