Description:

As a Buyer, you will manage the procurement of Services and Equipment on our projects, involving supply chain development, procurement strategy, tendering and evaluation, negotiation, contract management, and expediting. Join us as a key member of the project delivery team, working on challenging projects of significant scale and complexity. With guidance and training, you will have the opportunity to progress into senior procurement roles.

Key Objectives:

• Administer the procurement process for services and equipment.
• Collaborate closely with project teams and customers to fulfil requirements.
• Assist in prequalifying existing and new supply chain partners.
• Assess quotes/commercial terms and lead technical and commercial analysis.
• Present and gain approval of Tender Recommendations from Customers.
• Expedite and support engineering and construction teams to deliver procured items in line with project schedules.

About You:

• Experience in procurement within construction or engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Familiarity with EU and UK supply chains.
• Full UK driving license.
• Experience working with construction contractors.
• Experience in delivering complex procurement packages.
