Test Technician

Your main responsibilities would be:

• To support present and upcoming test requirements, create, review, and enhance test specifications.
• Determine process modifications that will increase output, boost quality, and save expenses.
• Assist System Design Authorities with product development, testing, and production readiness assessments.
• Move new product testing from engineering development into the production setting.
• Run tests and find new equipment that could be used to increase efficiency if needed.  Become involved in the design of bespoke and special-type test equipment.

• Encourage "Design for Test" and "Design for Manufacture" within the engineering community.
• Assist System Design Authorities by analysing test failures' underlying causes.
• Help production staff respect Manufacturing Instructions and locate the System Design Authority where process enhancements can be implemented.
• In order to guarantee that test procedures are implemented and supported in the production environment, communicate with the quality assurance manager.  
• Provide test results presentations for all interested parties to see.
• Calculate the amount of time needed to do a task and select appropriate criteria for performance comparison.
• Offer analysis of test results to motivate advancements.

To be considered for this role you would need the following:

• Practical testing experience in both development and production settings; • Test specification creation and implementation experience.
• Root cause analysis and fault discovery experience.
• Skilled in issue definition, concept expression, and technical knowledge sharing at all levels.
• Capable of meeting deadlines and working under pressure.
• Excellent analytical approach combined with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
