Class 1 HGV Drivers (Cat C+E)
Agency work for a leading UK retailer based in Knowsley, Liverpool

- · Nights £20.17phr
- · Saturdays £21.29phr
- · Sunday £23.53 phr
- Rates are PAYE including holiday pay (for rates accruing holiday pay, please contact us)
Inductions are starting next week (2 days and paid) and then the work will be allocated daily (shifts are likely to be allocated to include weekends for the next 8 weeks due to a peak).
Our client is looking for professional drivers to deliver to their stores across their UK network. Experience in retail would be advantageous but not essential, as they provide full training. During your induction you will be trained in retail deliveries including hanging garments and safe handballing. You will also be trained on containers to collect the containers from the railhead and deliver to their other DC's.
We are booking assessments for Drivers from today. Here is the criteria to apply:-
- - Hold a valid C&E Driving licence
- - DCPC Valid card for Driver Certificate of professional competence card
- - Min of 25 years of age with at least 12 months experience in C+E role (for insurance purposes)
- - Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules
- - Enjoy working with people at the stores
- - Health & Safety awareness
- - Minimal infringements on your Tachograph card
