AA Euro Group have been retained by a leading  UK Construction Company looking to recruit a RSN Surveyors for the prestigious project based in Bridgwater, Somerset.(Hinkley Point C Nuclear project). Due to project progression, we are looking for multiple Surveyors skilled in Survey Control Networks. 

The role

As an RSN Surveyor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main MEH, cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s two thousand five hundred rooms.

 Day to day, you will play a key role through carrying Surveying responsibilities integral in the construction of Hinkley Point C. 

• Provide Survey Control Networks enabling the setting out of equipment
• Ensure all surveying activities are executed in line with relevant specifications 
• Establish survey control points using traversing techniques.
• Analysis of existing control networks
• Monitor survey control networks to indicate building settlement.
• Produce Survey Reports and communicate these to the client
• Oversee a team of surveyors who will install survey control networks on site - exclusive to Senior Surveyor

This is a full time, permanent position, 38 hurs per week, following a nine-day fortnight working arrangement. Based onsite at  at Hinkley Point C near Bridgwater.

Essential experience of the RSN Surveyor

• Strong experience of installation of Survey Control Networks 
• Management of Survey Teams - exclusive to Senior Surveyor
• Experience with survey equipment, such as Total Station, Digital Level, Plummet Lasers and Tape Drops
• Production of Survey Reports 
• STARNET experience
• Knowledge of CDM regulations 

Qualifications for the RSN Surveyor

• Surveying or Engineering qualifications or suitable experience

The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance for this role.
