A leading national Building Services Contractor are currently recruiting for a M&E Quantity Surveyor based out of their Birmingham office due to the company’s on-going expansion plans and growth strategy. They have already secured a range of commercial projects that run until 2026.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is for someone who has experience as a M&E Quantity Surveyor

  • Assist the Senior M&E Surveyor / M&E Commercial Manager with:
  • Monthly reports e.g. cost and value comparisons, turnover forecasts etc. Ensuring information is complete and accurate Involvement with monthly reporting
  • Cost forecasting for projects undertaken
  • Playing a supporting role in pre-tender stage
  • Valuing and managing variations
  • Programme management
  • Working on projects up to £16M M&E value

Requirements:

  • You will previously have worked in the Building Services industry as M&E Quantity Surveyor, Junior Quantity Surveyor, Junior MEP Quantity Surveyor, Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor
  • Commercial or Industrial experience
  • It would be desirable if you have Mechanical or Electrical or Quantity Surveyor qualifications such as HNC, HND, or equivalent qualifications
