Our client, located in Winsford, is a prominent player in the manufacturing industry and a valued member of a multinational group. They are currently seeking a proactive Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This role will encompass responsibility for reactive breakdowns, planned maintenance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Benefits

  • Salary is £41,000 to £42,000 per annum
  • Hours: Monday to Friday shift from 8 am to 5 pm.

As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing production machines.
  • Installing new equipment and systems, ensuring top-notch safety and performance standards.
  • Performing preventative maintenance to enhance efficiency and equipment lifespan.
  • Participating in projects for continuous improvement in production efficiency.
  • Maintaining and updating equipment documentation, including schedules and records.
  • Ensuring equipment operates within safety and performance standards through regular inspections.

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical engineering.
