The Company
Our client runs a solid, successful business retrofitting emission control systems used nationwide on buses and commercial vehicles. They are expanding their London team to meet the demands of significant customer contracts.
The Job
As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide hands-on technical support, maintenance, and repair services for the retrofit of in-service emission control systems across London Depots. Additionally, you will be working on OE DFP systems (diesel particulate filters), primarily Cummins, Volvo and Mercedes, among other equipment.
About You
The role requires a perfectionist because its retrofit nature means integration problems and issues present a challenge. We are looking for a good engineer, not just a fitter.
Ideal skills and experience:
- HGV/PSV/Car maintenance experience to a diagnostic level
- Mechanically focused
- Welding/fabrication experience is an advantage
- Educated to C&G level or similar
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- A thorough, level and independent approach to your work
- Excellent customer service skills
Benefits
- Salary: £18 p/h - £29 p/h (£35100 - £56550) + Paid Overtime
- Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7am - 4pm and Friday, 7am - 2pm
- 25 Days Holiday, Pension, Private Healthcare option, Up to 5% bonus depending on company performance
