Randstad are looking for a teacher to work within a Pupil Referral Unit within the Bradford area. The ideal candidate will have their own vision for supporting children in non-mainstream settings and excel within a supporting role to help these students get the most out of their time in education.

The Role

The role entails supporting between KS1-3, and is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, qualified, and highly motivated person. The position of a PRU Teacher provides a rare platform for creativity and innovative practice to be explored. Some of the behaviour at times can be challenging, we require the right character who is committed and patient to work with children who attend our settings.

Requirements

Salary is variable based on experience & training/qualifications.

Requirements for the PRU Teacher position are:

• Qualified teacher status
• Desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and or behavioural management needs
• Relevant experience of working in a similar environment
• Enthusiastic and motivated attitude
• DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new DBS
