About the Production Supervisor job
The purpose of your role will be to work closely with the Quality, Technical teams and HR to ensure all line teams are trained to standard and that skills are balanced across each line.
Key tasks
- Improve the productivity, safety and quality of the lines together with the surrounding environment and continually maintain an audit standard environment.
- Prepare and manage daily production reports and manage training matrices.
- Ensure staffing levels are healthy to meet planning demands and help drive performance and create a positive, encouraging work environment. Manage timely attendance of staff lines.
- Assist the Factory Manager to assess the strengths & weaknesses of the team to identify training needs.
- Lead site induction and Health and Safety induction for new starters and visitors.
- KPI reporting responsibilities.
About You
The successful candidate shall have a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience ideally within a food manufacturing setting, knowledge of H&S and food hygiene as well as experience of working within a busy factory.
- Works well under pressure.
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbally.
- IT knowledge of Sage and Microsoft Office would be desirable. However, training shall be provided.
- Motivated with a passion for delivering great service.

The Production Supervisor job is based in Cheshire and is paying £28,000 - £32,000 according to your experience.
The working hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm and 8:00am to 4:00pm on rotating shifts.
