TristoneNash have partnered with a highly reputable social housing provider who is seeking to appoint a Performance Manager.

Location: Bath

Working from Home: Attending the office once per week

Length of Contract: 3 to 6 months

Pay: Negotiable day rate based upon experience

Working hours/days: 37 hours per week (09:00am to 17:00pm with flexibility)

Your duties in this role would include:

  • Acting as day-to-day owner for the performance process within the organisation
  • Acting as independent assuror of all information in packs when information and commentary is presented by senior management
  • Building positive relationships with senior management to engender a positive performance culture
  • Championing the performance reporting within the business, understanding requirements, analysing data and providing insights to help make informed decisions
  • Leading in the provision of assurance, collation and submission of statistical, regulatory returns and benchmarking submissions
  • Providing all draft performance packs for leadership group meetings, executive meetings, board meetings and committee meetings
  • Scrutinising all senior manager and Director commentary
  • Supporting all senior manager and Director review meetings
  • Maintaining the performance management policy and process
  • Maintaining a central register of all KPIs including definitions, relationships, owners and sources
  • Developing a strong understanding of information held, in order make informed judgements as to how best to correlate information to produce comprehensive, accurate and meaningful management information
  • Attending meetings as a trusted partner within the business as required to promote the effective interpretation and use of performance information, developing and maintaining a good understanding of evolving business needs
  • Participating in PDR development reviews, discussions and supervision meetings as required
  • Ensuring that tenant and customer interests are identified and fully taken account of within services

Essential requirements for this role:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of performance reporting
  • Proven skills in the production and interpretation of statistical information, including the use of computerised management information tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and good experience of building excellent relationships with management across the business
  • Ability to present data in a relevant and impactful way to senior management
  • Ability to convey statistical information in a simple format, great leadership skills, problem solving attitude
  • Intermediate Excel skills and ability to set financial targets and budgets
