A well-established enterprise offering a comprehensive range of engineering services, in collaboration with businesses to enhance facilities management, serving clients across various industries including food & beverage, brewing, pharmaceuticals, and chemical, seeking Electrical Technicians on a permanent basis.

Info about what the role entails

Within this role, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, modifications, and testing of control panels across client sites. You will be involved in various process industry projects, some of which may run simultaneously.

Requirements of the Electrical Engineer

  • Having experience working in the industrial sector (ideally Food/Manufacturing)
  • Qualified to BS 7671 (IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition)
  • Experience working in an industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in control and automation
  • Skilled in building and modifying control panels
  • Knowledge of BS 60204 standards for electrical equipment of machines/control panels
  • Expertise in fault finding.
  • Familiarity with testing to BS 7671 standards
  • Understanding of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings.
  • Flexible and effective team player
  • Adaptable to periodic tight deadlines
