Fire Systems Engineer
We're recruiting a Fire Systems Engineer to manage the maintenance and operation of the Fire Detection, Alarm and associated Suppression systems required to protect our clients assets.
The Role:
- Manage the maintenance of the Fire Detection and Suppression systems across sites to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation.
- Manage and coordinate contractors to service and maintain fire systems across the business.
- Advise on condition and suitability of systems and associated equipment enabling a forward plan of obsolescence replacement and system development.
- Manage and monitor the delivery of contracts for supplying installing Fire safety equipment.
- Support effective decision-making and the resolution of Fire System problems and the delivery of projects.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Fire Detection and Suppression systems, Fire Safety and its relevant legislation.
- Relevant qualifications in fire and or electrical disciplines.
- 3 years’ experience in operation and maintenance of Fire Systems and associated equipment.
Salary: Circa £45,800 Per Annum.
Working hours: Week 1 - Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri 7.30am - 4pm. Tues OFF. Week 2 - Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 7.30am - 4pm. Thurs OFF including some weekend work.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
