Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical works for the Manchester Airport Terminal 2 renovation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a major renovations project, working within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities


Site and project management: Oversee all aspects of electrical work on-site, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and standards.
Team Leadership: Manage and supervise the on-site electrical team, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient and effective work practices.
Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
Quality Control: Ensure all electrical installations meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Coordination: Liaise with other site managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical works with other construction activities.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project, implementing effective solutions promptly.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, including any deviations from the plan, to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience


Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on large-scale construction projects, preferably within the aviation or infrastructure sectors.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and relevant industry standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.
Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field, along with professional certifications or licenses.
