Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic and friendly office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready for their next challenge and eager to be part of a successful team.
The role is primarily office-based but will also involve some travel to projects across the North East.
The role:
Providing expert cost advice and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensuring the timely submission of comprehensive payment applications.
Proactively identifying potential cost risks and areas for margin improvement.
Collaborating closely with the operational team to ensure contract profitability.
Sharing knowledge and mentoring an Apprentice Surveyor and imparting learning to operational teams.
You will need to be:
An experienced Surveyor, preferably with an M&E or subcontractor background.
Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Proficient in numeracy and financial management.
Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with all stakeholders.
