£27,000 - £32,500/annum

Our client is seeking skilled a Field Service Engineer.  The position would suit candidates based in around North London/Hertfordshire/Essex

The Field Service Engineer role will involve attending clients for reactive and planned maintenance of forklift trucks; consideration will be given to applicants with experience from Automotive, Agricultural machinery, Plant machinery, Marine or LGV industries.

Basic salary:               £27,000 to £32,500 pa + overtime

OTE                            c£40,000 K pa

Field Service Engineer Person Specification

  • Proven background in servicing and maintaining equipment
  • Must have Full UK Driving license
  • Be able to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work alone but also as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of customer requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills - collaboration, teamwork
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills together with basic computer literacy
  • Accurate and timely record keeping
  • Flexible approach to the job and the ability to adapt to new and challenging workloads
  • Ability to manage own time effectively.

Field Service Engineer Experience & Education

  • Good level of education, either qualified by experience or certified vehicle/plant engineer
  • Experience of working within a Field Service Environment
