Our client are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team, providing exceptional electrical services to clients with minimal supervision. In this role, you will be responsible for electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Job Description

As Electrical Engineer, you will perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) as well as proactive and reactive tasks issued through the helpdesk, all within set time frames to meet customer expectations.

Additionally, you will be part of the callout rota, providing timely responses to client emergencies as needed.

The role hours operate Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm, amounting to 40 hours per week - this position does not involve on-call duties or shift work.

Additionally, you'll have access to one of our client's high-quality vans. Essential qualifications for this role include Level 3 C&G certification and 17th/18th edition certification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake electrical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met
  • Provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota
  • Ensure that equipment operates to specified performance criteria
  • Ensure equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company standards
  • Provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction
  • Evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out
  • Take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary
  • Be always fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Qualified Electrician
  • City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3
  • 17th/18th Edition certification
  • Previous significant experience in providing PPM and
  • Reactive maintenance across multiple disciplines (Multi-skilled)
