Health & Safety Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.

Health & Safety Manager Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
• Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate accident and near miss investigation processes
• Provide safety training to employees on topics such as first aid, emergency response, and personal protective equipment
• Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, near misses, and corrective actions
• Carry out site Health and Safety audits and act on the outcome of these audits
• Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and promote a culture of safety awareness
• Prepare and present reports on safety performance metrics to senior management

Health & Safety Manager's Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred
• Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs
• Knowledge of Food Safety & Hygiene regulations and requirements
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise reports
• NEBOSH diploma
• Certification in IOSH or above
