Job Location:               Christchurch, Dorset

Job Type:                     Permanent

Hours:                           37.5 hours per week, 8-hour days Monday – Friday

Salary:                         £13 - £16 per hour depending on level of experience (Relocation assistance available)

We are looking for a talented upholsterer to work with a successful furniture manufacturer in Christchurch who supply businesses across the UK & Europe.

Working within a small and friendly team, you will be responsible for upholstering, patterning, cutting, sewing, and tacking to a high standard.

For the right candidate, relocation assistance can be offered.

The interview process will consist of upholstering a unit in line with drawing handovers and safety boots will be required.

Some of your duties will include:

• Demonstrating all aspects of upholstery including patterning, cutting, sewing and tacking
• The ability to take accurate measurements and work out amounts of materials needed
• Working closely with the upholstery team to ensure high standards and deadlines are met

• Relevant and up to date experience in an upholstery role

• Good spoken and written English
