Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor- Main Contractor

Location: Lincolnshire, UK

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, and negotiations.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to financial plans.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Resolve any contractual and commercial issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with tier 2 main contractors.
  • Extensive experience in both new build and renovation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using industry-standard software and tools.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional membership with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or similar is preferred.
