Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

TJC Landrovers are a well-established family firm based in Weasenham who have been rebuilding, servicing and selling Landrovers for over 30 years. We are a certified MOT station and workshop for all types of vehicles.

We are now looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our highly talented team

Working Hours: 8.30am-5.00 Monday to Thursday, Friday early finish at 4.30 (No Saturdays) Full time available and would consider part time.

As VehicleTechnician / Mechanic you will be responsible for the smooth running of the workshop, managing a small team of talented vehicle technicians. Responsible for the servicing, repair and diagnostics of all types of vehicles in the workshop, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard first time.

Main responsibilities would include;

• Electrical and Mechanical repairs
• Including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts 
• Air conditioning servicing.
• You will also be involved in the rebuild / restoration of classic Landrovers (training will be given)

Your background

• Whether you work at an independent garage or main dealer, we would be interested in talking to you.
• Ideally you will hold your NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Experience in a similar supervisory role would be advantageous, but not essential.
• MOT Tester qualification would be beneficial (Training can be offered)
