Product Manager

• £60,000 to £80,000 basic salary
• 20% bonus
• Cambridge – hybrid for 2 or 3 days a week in office vs home

Mercury Hampton is exclusively retained to manage this exciting strategic appointment. This company is at the forefront of materials science to fight against climate change. Their innovation and patented technology are well reported and known across the UK and the world. Due to massive investment and ambitious growth plans they urgently require a Product Manager to focus on the commercialization of their current products and help develop new products.  

The Role

You will be the company’s first Product Manager and you will be able to recruit a team under you in due course – circa 18 months’ time.

You will focus on the definition, management and delivery to market of the company’s products and solutions, working within the commercial team liaising with colleagues across the business including R&D, sales, marketing etc.

Responsibilities:

• Define product strategy, products and roadmaps
• Communicate market requirements and products requirements internally
• Represent the customer in senior leadership management meetings
• Manage products throughout their lifecycle from concept to delivery

The Person

• Knowledge and experience in materials science
• Experience as a Product Manager
• Living with an hour or so from Cambridge to work in the Cambridge office 2 or 3 days a week
