Rate of pay - £48ltd per hour - Accommodation allowance of £30 3x a week when evidence of accommodation provided

Overview

Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council are currently seeking an experienced long-term locum Social Worker for their improving Children and Families First teams. The teams hold CIN, CP and cases, and offer manageable caseloads and regular supervision as standard. The team has high morale and you will have the satisfaction of being part of a noticeably improving authority.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of children and families, holding CIN, CP and cases
  • Provide regular supervision to your cases
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
  • Complete assessments and reports to a high standard
  • Ensure that the welfare of children and families is paramount

Requirements

  • A recognised Social Work qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Experience of working with children and families
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a demanding workload
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies
  • Willingness to work in the office in BCP area a minimum of 3x days a week
