Suppleo Education are proud to be working in partnership with an amazing school in Ellesmere Port area who have an opportunity for a confident and resilient SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join them on a full time basis until July 2025. This opportunity could become permanent for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and very supportive team on a journey to make a positive difference to the lives of pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including ASD, MLD and SEMH.                                                                                         

Job Specification

Role: SEMH Learning Support Assistant
Daily Rate: £85 - £100/day
Location: Ellesmere Port
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: until July 2025
Full-time/Part-time: Full-time
Hours: 8:30-3:30

Experience, Training & Qualifications                                                                

• Previous experience working with SEN students, preferably in an educational setting
• A relevant qualification in a related field would be an advantage but is not essential – we are a CPD accredited course provider and offer FREE training to all of our candidates                                                                                                                                  
• A valid enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate on the update service or a willingness to obtain one via Suppleo Education                                                                                           
• Introduction to Safeguarding – Available FREE via Suppleo Education
