TXM Recruit is currently working with an award-winning M&E organisation in search of an Electrical Estimator to work in their Telford office, assisting with the delivery of their electrical midlands-based projects.

The projects the Electrical Estimator will assist with are all commercial ranging from schools, hospitals, retirement villages etc. This Electrical Estimator role is full time, Monday to Friday office based.

This company is happy to consider candidates at all levels for this role but the salary + package will be reflective of the candidates experience.

Electrical Estimator duties –

• Sending out enquiries to suppliers and sub-contractors
• Taking-off drawings and inputting them into the Estimation software
• Analysing received quotations to ensure the equipment/specialist is compliant with the tender information
• Completing tender analysis including preliminary costs
• Customising and incorporating specific clarifications in the master tender letter to suit the specific requirements of the projects

The ideal Electrical Estimator will have –

• Experience working for an M&E subcontractor
• Must have a strong electrical background
• SMSTS / SSSTS
