The Learning Academy Partnership has an exciting opportunity for a Class Teacher join our Trust, based in St Andrews C of E Academy.
We are privileged to have St Andrew’s join our Trust in September. Situated within the picturesque village of Buckland Monachorum on the edge of Dartmoor, the school is less than a minute drive from Tavistock, and just 30 minutes from Ivybridge and Plymouth.
At St Andrew’s, we pride ourselves on our rich and vibrant curriculum that makes the most of our beautiful rural location and the links with the local village church. The environment is very much part of the daily curriculum where a wealth of natural resources makes learning exciting and awe-inspiring for all children. There is a real sense of community here; we value the incredible relationships we have with our families and aim to ensure that all our children have the best start in life and can flourish in all they do.
We empower children with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to flourish, removing barriers to learning so every child, even the most vulnerable, can achieve their full potential. We are a school where we 'Learn together what is good and right,'. Our values of love, resilience, joy, hope, friendship and respect underpin all that we do
We are looking for a full-time Class Teacher to join our incredible team to nurture and inspire our children, foster a love of learning, and make a profound difference to their lives. We are committed to supporting the work-like balance of our colleagues and would be happy to discuss part-time and flexible working opportunities. Regardless of where you are in your teaching journey, whether you are an Early Careers Teacher or an experienced Teacher, we would love to hear from you!
This is a great opportunity to be part of a wider team of teachers not just within our local West Devon Hub (Lamerton C of E Academy, Gulworthy Academy and Lifton Community Academy), but across the entire Trust, who all develop practice and share expertise. We are proud that we are a single organisation with a shared responsibility for all children, and one where you will feel professionally nourished through our extensive development practice and strong wellbeing offer.
Our School Trust is underpinned by our four core beliefs; we are stronger together, a sense of belonging; removing barriers and realising the possible. This means that by working collectively, we can achieve our absolute best to ensure that children, especially the most vulnerable, can flourish. Our ethos is one of working together to Empower, Excel, Together.
We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace that represents the wider communities that we serve where everyone feels valued and a sense of belonging. We champion diversity, inclusion and wellbeing and aim to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and a sense of belonging.
We can offer you:
