HR Advisor

An exciting opportunity for a permanent HR Advisor to join a HR team, helping to build and maintain a positive relationship. This is a Generalist role where you will be providing a full HR service to around 1,500. A key part of the role will be coaching and advising managers on the best way to handle employee relations issues. This role offers a salary up to £35,000, onsite parking, staff discounts and much more!

Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide coaching, advice and support to Managers to enable them to effectively deal with all people matters, including performance management, short-term absence management and more complex employee relations issues.
- Manage employees on long-term sickness absence.
- Conduct investigations, and chair probation reviews, disciplinary hearings, grievance hearings and appeal meetings.
- Provide HR training to the business, including bite-size training sessions.
- Support the strategic HR plans with the intention of a positive impact on business performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Essential to have a minimum of 2 to 3 years practical hands-on HR experience.
- CIPD level 5 desirable but experience is more essential.
- A keen eye for detail with a thorough approach to reviewing facts and information.
- A confident and logical decision maker with the ability to persuade and influence others.
- Discreet and confidential at all times.
- A proactive team player with a 'happy to help' attitude
- Hardworking, reliable, IT literate (especially Excel), and able to work to strict deadlines.
