Role: Maintenance Technician

Location: Leeds

Salary: £26,000pa + 10% discretionary bonus

Experience required: At least 2 years experience within residential maintenance

One Property Recruitment have been instructed on the search for a Maintenance Technician to join our client’s high-end Build to Rent development in Leeds.

About our client: My client is one of the leading Build to Rent operator. They have just increased their residential portfolio and are looking for a skilled handyman who can fix any issues and who has exceptional customer service also.

Your role as a Maintenance Technician will include:

• Ensure that the internal and external buildings, grounds, and amenities meet the health and safety standards required, as well as exceptional appearance.

• Conduct all flat inspections, to check for snagging.

• Be the first point of contact for any queries from residents and ensure that you respond to these efficiently.

• Work well in part of a team to prioritise tasks to put resident’s health and safety first.

• Deal with minor electrical repairs and plumbing repairs.

• Change doors, taps, handles, sinks, and shower doors etc.

• Ensure that all the maintenance tickets and PPMs are closed off in the agreed SLAs.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with residential maintenance experience partnered with a great attitude to come in and hit the ground running. You will just be based at one residential site so you will get to know the development inside out.

• Have the ability to follow policies and procedures.

• Great customer service skills
