Construction Project Manager required to work for of the UK’s most successful and progressive privately owned construction businesses based in the North of England.

This is a permanent role with projects around the Yorkshire area. The current projects are mainly industrial and commercial schemes.

As Project Manager you will work closely with the Operations Director overseeing all aspects of construction phases ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage project resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of workmanship, addressing any issues promptly.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Experience of industrial and commercial projects is essential.
• Proven experience as a construction Project Manager with a main building contractor.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS)
