Business Development Manager - Freight

Location:
Bradford, West Yorkshire

We are partnering with a Freight Forwarding company looking for a Business Development Manager to  join their team in Bradford.

General duties:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business development for the company 
  • Cold calling prospect clients
  • Implement the Business Sales plans 
  • Achieving company growth targets and sales
  • Win business from new customers in line with targets set by the Sales Manager
  • Generate an increase in business from existing customers listed in your portfolio
  • Identify new target customers within defined parameters.

Requirements:

  • Experience within a freight forwarding environment essential
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients
