Project Engineer

Job Role

This is a thrilling opportunity to join a close-knit Engineering Team that supports the business in delivering and managing projects.

Project Engineers play a crucial role in overseeing the commercial and technical aspects of projects, leveraging their expertise in budget, schedule, and technical delivery.

Day-to-day responsibilities are diverse and may include:

• Anticipating, managing, and resolving issues while serving as the main point of contact for projects.
• Reporting to and meeting with clients and stakeholders.
• Producing engineering proposals, reports, ITTs, and schedules as needed by clients.
• Preparing cost reports and revenue forecasts for projects.
• Implementing best practice risk management strategies.
• Providing leadership and guidance to less experienced team members.
• Serving as an engineering resource on projects as required.

Applicant Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in naval architecture / mechanical / structural Engineering, marine engineering or a related field.
• Proven track record of delivering engineering projects.
• A valid driving license.
• Knowledge of industry software and relevant engineering tools.
• A shipyard/fabrication background would be beneficial.

Remuneration

On offer for this position is a salary of £50-60K with additional benefits.
