Trainee Heating Engineer

A growing boiler supplier have an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join their team based in Rochester, as a Trainee Heating Engineer. A great opportunity for an individual interested in entering the heating trade. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in the installation and maintenance of a wide variety of equipment. For those who demonstrate aptitude for the role there will also be the opportunity to train for technical qualifications for the right candidate with clear progression within the company. The technical qualifications will be your gas safety tickets.

As the successful Trainee Heating Engineer, you will be-

• Trainee Heating Engineer will be working together with an experienced engineer for real life experience
• Trainee Heating Engineer will help to manage the fleet when working in the yard
• Trainee Heating Engineer will learn how to install industrial temporary boilers and chillers
• Trainee Heating Engineer will be working in the yard during the warmer months
• Trainee Heating Engineer will be travelling to various sites across London and the Home counties
• The basic working week is 7.30am- 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Requirements for the Trainee Heating Engineer -

• Trainee Heating Engineer must be pro-active with a keen willingness to learn essential skills necessary to become a full qualified heating engineer
• Trainee Heating Engineer must be pro-active must be based within an easily commutable distance of Rochester
• Trainee Heating Engineer will need plumbing qualifications, or ideally completed a plumbing apprenticeship
• Trainee Heating Engineer must be able to work away from home should this be required (prior notice would be given in all instances
• Trainee Heating Engineer must have a full, valid UK driving licence is essential
• Trainee Heating Engineer must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check
• Trainee Heating Engineer must have a valid CSCS would necessary
