Hello,

My client is a long established successful specialist manufacturing engineering SME serving customers in high reliability sectors which include nuclear, defence and aerospace markets. They are currently in need of a Test Technician to join their team in Croydon.
 

DUTIES:

• Verifying the performance of newly built product at a protype and fully realised stage (both on and off site).
• Keeping the equipment and calibration records used for testing up to date.
• Reviewing historical data stored either digitally or on paper for analyses and improvement process.
• Characterising a range of products through detailed hands-on measurements to investigate product data and limitations.
• Analysing data from manufacturing processes and facility monitoring sensors, to use in implementing key monitoring and process improvements.

SKILLS:

• Knowledge of handing and displaying data.
• Knowledge of radiation or detectors and a practical background.
• Ability to work using your own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and professional manner.
• Good knowledge of MS office software
• Full, clean driving license

LOCATION: CROYDON
SALARY: £27,000 - £34,000 per annum

WORKING HOURS: (37.5 hrs), Monday to Thursday (8am-16.45pm)  Friday (8am-12.30pm)
