Your new company is a well established Civil Engineering specialist, managing projects in the following sectors across the South West; infrastructure, defence, commercial, industrial and highways. The company are looking to recruit a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Bristol.

Your new role
As part of the commercial team, you will be in charge of ensuring the financial success of projects typically in the range of £1m - £12m. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements from architectural and engineering drawings.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure cost control and value engineering.
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures.
• Monitor project progress and variations, adjusting budgets as needed.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and contractual obligations

What you'll need to succeed

• Professional Qualification
• Prior experience delivering Groundworks / Civil Engineering projects
• Strong NEC / JCT contract experience.
• Strong procurement skills
• Excellent IT, analytical and communication skills
