Are you ready to take flight and join our Client’s team in London Gatwick? They are expanding their operations and need you in their team!

Peopleforce on behalf of our Client are keen to speak to CAT B1/B2 Licensed Engineers who will ensure the smooth and successful aircraft maintenance at our client’s location at London Gatwick.

Scope of responsibilities

  • Carry out line maintenance on B777 A/C type.
  • Carry out line maintenance also additionally on B787, A330 and A350 A/C type.
  • Certify that maintenance work has been carried out correctly and thus ensure that customers get their fleet in the air on time.
  • Give technical instructions, coordinate, and control the maintenance work of others.
  • Perform line maintenance on aircraft and issue a certificate of release to service after minor checkups to and including the weekly check and simple defect rectification.
  • Ensure compliance with safety directives and application of safe working methods.
  • Maintain the work environment and work vehicles in a clean and safe condition.

Key requirements

  • Valid EASA CAT B1 and/or B2 licensed with experience in B777 A/C type and additionally on other A/C types stated above.
  • Current EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License B1 and/or B2.
  • At least 2 years of line or base maintenance experience on the required aircraft type stated above.
  • At least 6 months of recent experience in the last 2 years on the required aircraft stated above (the experience shall be spread over 2 years).
  • Solid knowledge of 145 Legislation.
  • Experience in Line Maintenance with an authorized maintenance organization (MRO).
  • Valid EWIS, HF, and FTS certificates (initial + recurrent).
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong team player.
  • High flexibility including a willingness to travel on request to assist with the recovery of aircraft in AOG situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (both in writing and speaking).
  • Passport/work permit and driving license that is valid in the UK.
  • A valid security check for LGW/LHR is a big plus.
  • Proficiency with IT systems: MS Office, AMOS.
