Maintenance Engineer (Monday to Friday Days role)

I am currently recruiting for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer for a well known manufacturer commutable to Shefford. Due to planned expansion, my client are looking for qualified engineers who have experience within the manufacturing industry and are looking to join a growing company who pay well, have a great reputation in the area and who prioritise training their team with external and internal courses.

This is a Monday to Friday days role which will involve PPM, breakdowns, electrical and mechanical repairs and fault finding on a range of production machinery. 

Maintenance Engineer Job Duties:

• Carry out preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, servicing and repairs on production machinery and equipment.
• Work in an established team towards factory downtime and efficiency targets.
• Assist with the commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Look after after all aspects of machine function: pneuamtic and hydraulic
  systems; electrical systems, and control systems.
• Fault finding and diagnostics on machiney.
• Take part in schedulded continuous improvement projects.
