The Role – SEN TA

For this role, we are recruiting for experienced and confident SEN TA to work closely on a 1:1 basis with students who have been diagnosed on the Autistic Spectrum. The role will require you to work closely with the student so that you may build a rapport with them by providing both academic and emotional support. Due to the students’ needs, the ideal SEN TA will need to have experience working with children or young people who have been diagnosed on the Autistic Spectrum, have learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.

This thriving SEN school is located in Barking and caters for students aged between 3-18 years who have Special Educational Needs. They currently have 647 students who attend the school and an Ofsted rating of ‘Outstanding’ in all areas from their last inspection in May 2019. This SEN school has good transport links available with a bus stop right outside the school as well as on-site parking.
