Our client is a leading carpentry subcontractor based in Pinner, specializing in delivering top-quality carpentry and joinery services for residential and commercial projects. They're currently seeking a talented and experienced Estimator with a background in carpentry to join their dynamic team.

They're looking for an experienced Estimator who will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of their projects. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of carpentry processes, and the ability to prepare precise cost estimates that ensure the profitability and success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for carpentry and joinery projects.
• Compile tender documents and submit bids for new projects.
• Conduct detailed material take-offs and cost breakdowns.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.
• Maintain thorough documentation of estimates, bids, and project costings.
• Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Estimator
• Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of carpentry and joinery processes, materials, and costs.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
