Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to ensure all students are challenged and supported.
• Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
• Foster a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continual improvement of the department.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching maths at the secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of educational trends and innovations.
