Role Overview:

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team in Cheltenham. In this essential role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of electronic assemblies, cable/wire harness assemblies, manufactured parts, and metalwork. You will be inspecting, verifying, and certifying products to meet IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 standards. Your work will involve close collaboration with production teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our deliverables are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Quality Inspector, you will examine electronic assemblies and cable/wire harnesses to make sure they comply with IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 criteria. You will verify the correct assembly of electrical connections, ensuring everything meets our rigorous standards. Additionally, you will generate necessary quality documentation required by our customers, such as Certificates of Conformance, Statements of Work, and First Article Inspection Reports. In supporting our processes, you will assist the quality department with tasks related to Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), customer complaint investigations, process qualifications, and audits.

Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must be familiar with IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 standards, and be able to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions. You will have minimum 2 years experience in a similar role. Experience in electrical wiring and assembly, along with knowledge of Mil-STDs related to cable and wire harness assemblies, is essential.
