Our client, an engineering consultancy are looking for a MEP Revit Technician with experience in building services design.

Most of the work will be design for commercial projects, university accommodation, NHS hospitals (new build and upgrades) and residential both houses and flats. They provide services including design feasibility, surveys, thermal modelling and regulatory work.
 

The Role

• Producing detailed, coordinated service models accurately.
• Collaborating with the MEP team to deliver quality BIM projects to agreed deadlines.
• Advising and guiding on the planning and management of advanced Revit techniques.
• Quality control of BIM models and associated drawings, schedules etc.
• Assisting in the development of systems and procedures to ensure effective BIM systems.
• Developing sketches and concepts into drawing details with a good. understanding of the engineering practices behind them.
• Proficient in the use of Revit and AutoCAD, to draw/model MEP services.
• Communicating with the engineers.

The Person

• Experience in the building services industry is essential.
• You will have practical working experience as a Revit / AutoCAD Technician in a Building Services environment and be fully immersed in the world of BIM.
• Working directly with the engineers you will able to manage & priorities you own workload.
